Liverpool Jewish Theatre and Cultural Group (LJTCG) was established in 1990 catering primarily for those aged 50 and upwards. Outings take place to Theatres and Stately Homes in the North West.
On average there is a theatre outing once a month to take in a matinee. Travel is by coach which leaves from Harold House at 10.30am. Current theatres included in the programme are The Royal Exchange, Manchester, The Lowry, Salford Quays. The Octagon, Bolton and The Regent Theatre, Stoke on Trent.
LJTCG is not a fundraising organisation, but any surplus funds are donated to charity; however, each year a Brunch is held in a member's home in aid of Jewish Child's Day. From time to time a speaker meeting is held in Harold House.
New members are always welcome and the subsciption is £15 for a couple at the same address and £10 for singles.
