JNF

JNF Liverpool has been "going" probably since the State of Israel was created. Committee Meetings take place when we are planning a function. We would welcome involvement from anyone interested in helping us organise a fund-raising event; our donors support exciting events in Manchester organised through our office there.

We have an Annual Telethon, Green Sunday, when we call our local donors to raise money, originally to plant trees for Tu B'Shevat, but now for various projects in Israel. We also have a Rosh Hashana Appeal. Tree Certificates are also availabe to purchase to celebrate all sorts of family simchot, for guest speakers at meetings and dinners, and in memory of departed ones.

JNF also have the Blue Box Tzedakah collection, traditionally the symbol of JNF.
